Feifan Auto(飞凡汽车), a premium EV brand under China's largest auto manufacturer SAIC Motor, announced on February 22 that its flagship SUV R7 is available for pre-order, which is the first production model of Feifan Auto.
Feifan R7 is a high-end pure electric SUV equipped with a self-developed high-level full-stack intelligent driving system PP-CEM TM. R7 is the first mass-produced model equipped with Luminar’s high-performance LiDAR sensors, using 1550nm wavelength light source technology, with the longest detection distance is over 500 meters. Coupled with Premium 4D imaging radar, NVIDIA intelligent driving chip Orin, an advanced environment algorithm model, and an 8 million pixel high-definition camera, it dramatically improves the safety and driving experience of the car.
The car's smart cockpit is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and also offers AR HUD functionality. It has a 43-inch touchscreen and has high-level voice recognition ability.
The R7 adopts Feifan's RISING POWER energy solution, supporting battery swaps and upgrades. Meanwhile, its EV cooling system can significantly increase heat dissipation, enabling the peak performance of the motor to lasts longer. Its motor has a peak power of 400 kW and a peak torque of 700 Nm, which helps the car accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 4 seconds. The company also said Feifan R7 has a range of more than 600 kilometers. The car will be delivered in the second half of 2022, according to the company.
